Description
The Giltrap Distribution Facility, completed in September 2023, is a sustainability-driven parts and distribution warehouse designed to support 18 prestigious automotive brands across New Zealand. Located at Airport Oaks for efficient logistics access, the 10,268m² facility features high ceilings, flexible office layouts, and extensive natural lighting to foster efficiency and collaboration. We provided comprehensive building services and sustainability design, including detailed Greenhouse Gas Emissions Energy Modelling, Thermal Comfort Analysis, and Daylight Assessments for the 5-Star Green Star design rating submission.
The design emphasizes energy-efficient building systems, with strategically placed skylights maximizing natural illumination in the warehouse section. The sleek, contemporary design integrates eco-friendly elements throughout, ensuring that the Giltrap Group's facilities align with their commitment to low-emission vehicles. This project exemplifies how advanced engineering can deliver a high-performance industrial asset that is both operationally efficient and environmentally conscious.
