68 Cryers Road is a premium industrial development situated on a 2.3-hectare site in the heart of East Tāmaki, one of New Zealand’s most tightly held industrial hubs. The project features two high-spec warehouses—comprising approximately 9,800sqm and 2,500sqm—designed with an impressive 16.75m roof ridge height to accommodate large-scale logistics operations. We led the building services and sustainability design, with a primary objective of achieving a 5-Star Green Star rating. Our team delivered advanced sustainability modeling, including Greenhouse Gas Emissions energy modeling, thermal comfort analysis, and detailed daylight assessments to meet stringent certification standards. The mechanical and electrical designs emphasize energy efficiency, supporting a fully sprinklered facility with extensive canopies for all-weather devanning.
We also provided comprehensive communication and security design, along with specialized hydraulic and fire protection systems tailored for high-density industrial use. The site is further enhanced by 59 exclusive car parks and full drive-around capabilities, ensuring maximum operational fluidity. By leveraging the site’s existing high power capacity from its history as a food manufacturing facility, we have created a resilient, ready-made platform for growth. This development stands as a testament to our ability to integrate sophisticated technical services into large-scale, environmentally conscious industrial assets.
